I wonder how much that cost HF.

I watch what I buy from HF
If I want it to work it light duty I get it
If I need a tool to work hard I pay the Price for the good stuff
That Said I purchased an 3/4" 7 X 12 Horizontal Band Saw many many years ago.
I out Grew it so I purchase an 1" 9 X 16 Industrial grade Band Saw Both were built in Twain.
Well my Industrial Grade Saw took a dump on me a year + ago and I am back using my HF Special Saw.
I also have their Bench Mill/Drill That I have out Grown but have no place to put a Real Floor Mill
There Sockets and wrenches are all I will buy from now on.
I have several sets of 3/4" & 1" Drive sets and I Broke one of the 3/4" drive sockets . Took it in to get a replacement and the Manager asked if I had the entire set.
I told the manager yes but I only need this one replaced. The manager responded by saying We sale our Sockets by the Set and not Individually. Bring the set in and go pick out another one to replace it.
Craftsman and Snapon do not do that.
I buy their 3/4" & 1" Sockets to cut and weld a Pipe Slug in the middle of them to make custom deep Sockets.
I would never spend the money on a Craftsman or Snapon to do the same to.

Grinders I work to hard so I pay the Money for the Dewalt stuff Drill Motors I work to Hard so I buy the Milwaukee stuff.
I have learned over the years how hard I work tools and what tools Just sit around between projects.

I bet they look better than the tools I fish out of the raceways after a year or two. Probably better than the phone I found a year and a half later.......

But, yeah, I buy a lot of slip joint pliers and big flat head screwdrivers from HB for that exact reason.

One problem with their wrenches is they don't sell them individually. I don't want to buy whole set I'll never use to get the one 13mm socket I need.

I have a 4.5 inch grinder (Chicago brand I think...it's orange) that I bought well over 10 years ago for probably 10 bucks or so, that thing has seen a TON of use and is still going strong. If I remember correctly it even came with an extra set of brushes but I haven't had to put them in yet.

I have had good luck with HF hand tools, my floor jack is 15+ years old with no problems, recently bought one of there new 90 deg drivers and it works great.

Their Badlands Off road Winches get good reviews BUT I hunt alone miles from any roads and would rather trust my survival with a more expensive a Warn winch.

My Dad, 80, has wanted a cordless drill/driver for years. He always bought crap, and predictably they sucked and didn't last. Of course, he spent far more $ on crap & then replacement crap than he would have if he just bit the frickin' bullet and purchased a decent Milwaukee, Makita, or DeWalt in the first place. Right before Christmas, I noticed he had a couple of the Baur and Hercules drill/drivers circled in the Horror Freight circular. I needed a new floor jack since my 3 1/2 ton Craftsman crapped out and they were having a sale. I picked up one of their "Daytona" 3.5 ton floor jacks on sale for $89.00 and I have to say it's a pretty danged good floor jack. While there, I looked at the Baur and Hercules drill/drivers. Yes, they're a good price, but the batteries and chargers are not included and must be purchased separately. By the time you buy all that you've almost spent more than a decent one at Lowes or Home Depot, which includes a charger and batteries. I bought Dad a Craftsman drill/driver that included a battery and a charger for $69.00 at Lowes and it's pretty decent, certainly better than anything he's had. Probably not as good as my DeWalt setup, but pretty close.

Couldn't do it chickened out. Was looking at the Hercules miter saw stand today $194. Looks good but sat in the parking lot and found a gently used Delta with way nicer features on offer up. $100 ,drove away and brought it home. Now just need to tune in up my saw and give it a new blade.

I bought a 22hp predator for my mud boat to replace the Honda, it ran about a week and was replaced under warranty. The replacement went tit* up as well. My brother bought the same motor to mount on his small ditcher, it burned up in short time.

I read the great reviews too..

Their Earthquake 1/2 inch impact is no joke. It will hang With my buddies Ingersall Thunder Gun all day long. One of the few things I endorse whole heartedly from HF Tools.

I purchased one of their 10' X 12' Green Houses about 5 years ago.
The Lexan is rotting away cracking and falling out now.
When I put it up all the panels were blown out by the wind and I had to glue everyone of them back in with silicone.
I now have an Aluminum Frame left.
Do not waist your Money.
I helped my Uncle build a Industrial Grade 30' X 64' Greenhouse 30+ years ago with a Lexan skin and it is as good today as the day we built it.

I bought one of their US General roller tool boxes. Bottom chest, top chest, and the hang on side chest. Very heavy duty. Also got one of their airless paint sprayers on coupon for 164.00 to spray my house. Worked awesome. Very fast, no plugged filters. I've bought cheap grinders and one of their better finish nailers and have never had a problem.
